Do you have the potential to be an enthusiastic and committed Deputy Manager in our Bromley high care supported living service, to be part of the leadership team making a real difference for the better to the lives of the people in our care. You will be supporting people with a range of needs including profound and multiple disabilities.

About the Role

You will work within the values and spirit of Outward to engage, enable and empower your customers.

* You will motivate support staff to be positive and enthusiastic about their work and to deliver high quality and personalised care and support.
* You will work with the team to be creative and flexible to best meet the needs of the people we support.
* You will lead your team to develop and deliver support and care plans that reflect people's needs, preferences and aspirations; creating a caring environment that provides choice and opportunity.

About you

You will be an excellent communicator liaising effectively with key stakeholders including statutory multi-disciplinary and health professionals, family carers and customers. You will have the potential to be a good manager of people, an understanding of how to deliver person centred services and really good personal care.

You will be required to work some evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You may also be asked to do an occasional sleep-in and will provide regular out of hours on-call support for which additional payment will be made

Qualification/Skills

* NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or equivalent
* Experience of leadership within a team
* Good organisational skill
* Experience of planning activities in house and out of service
* Problem solving skills
* Ability to drive is essential
