This is a full-time semi-remote role as a developer and technical manager.

You will work in an open and relaxed environment in which you will split your time between working from home, their office near the Strand in London and meeting clients at their offices in and around London.

They are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and experienced developer with natural leadership qualities to add value and drive continuous improvement to their technical operations. The job will involve:

- Planning and documenting technical solutions to meet the clients business requirements
- Troubleshooting technical problems within the team
- Co-ordinating their development team to standardise, document and continuously improve tools and processes
- Managing technical resources and overseeing the delivery of technical solutions
- Communicating with clients (including face to face) to discuss requirements and explain possible technical solutions in human language
- Liaising with technical partners such as hosting companies and client IT departments
- Leading the team in developing techniques for reducing website energy consumption and carbon emissions
- Mentoring other developers to help them progress

You will ideally have experience with:

- PHP, HTML, CSS, JS and WordPress development
- Automated deployment systems
- Planning and monitoring software delivery and testing
- Version control systems
- Integrating third-party APIs
- Web security
- Technical SEO
- DNS configurations, CDNs and SSL
- Working remotely & autonomously
- Leading teams
