Family Resettlement Worker (Community and Custody)
Pact (Prison Advice & Care Trust) is a National charity which support people affected by imprisonment. They work in prisons and communities across England and Wales to provide practical support to prisoners' children and families, and to prisoners themselves.
Position: Family Resettlement Worker (Community and Custody)
Location: Doncaster CRC Hub South Yorkshire CRC and in-reach at HMP Doncaster
Job Type: Part Time, Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Salary: GBP12,000 per annum (GBP20,000 FTE)

About the role:
As the Family Resettlement Worker you will deliver both 1-1 and family / relationship case work support and Pact's group / family relationship courses in both prison and community settings. Recording and reporting on individual and service performance targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, working closely with the Family Resettlement Manager to identify performance improvement actions and best practice at individual and service level.
Adopting a multi-agency approach, working with a range of statutory and non-statutory partners and agencies in support of both referral pathways and effective service delivery.
You will be working with and through prison, CRC and other case managers and key work staff as appropriate, provide support to offenders with regard to family issues, in accordance with prisons and CRC's rules and procedures regarding security, safeguarding and public protection.
You will develop and maintain good, professional and pro-active working relationships with CRC, Prison and community agencies, partners and providers, ensuring effective referral pathways are established for service users and Pact is actively promoted.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will be literate and numerate, with excellent written and spoken English, you will be supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs to overcome barriers and the ability to work on one's own initiative.
You will have experience in diary management and prioritising conflicting demands as well as data entry and collation, maintaining records, drafting letters and information gathering. You will also be results orientated with a 'can do' attitude and be enthusiastic in driving the passion to grow Pact Futures impact within a challenging funding environment.
We're looking to appoint someone with experience of supporting individuals with multiple and complex needs to overcome barriers, and therefore have an appreciation of safeguarding, personal safety and professional boundaries. Ideally you will also have interagency work experience (building partnerships, promoting positive relationships between different agencies, and developing new approaches to service delivery).
