The Package
- Part Time (21 hours per week), Fixed Term for 3 months in the first instance
- Salary: £16,654 - £18,263 pro rata per annum

About the Role
You will be required to undertake portering / security and front of house duties. You will undertake basic maintenance of University property, attend to phone calls and the switchboard in a professional manner, and act as the first point of out-of-hours contact for individuals on campus.
You will ensure the security of campus and keys, ensure that areas / rooms are ready for use and free of debris or unwanted items, moving items to assigned places and changing any bulbs as required. You will provide support for transportation of food and drinks, and assist in the set-up of conferences.
Flexibility to support any area of the Facilities department in order to deliver an efficient customer-focused service will be a crucial part of the role. You will be required to work alongside a Security Officer to receive guidance as required.
