Alternative Provision Supervisor
Required from April 2018
32.5 hours per week, term time only plus 2 training days
Salary level 5, Point 22 - 25
£20,661 to £22,658 (£17,140 to £18,797 pro rata) per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen to supervise lessons and provide pastoral care at the school's alternative provision unit. The alternative provision unit supports students who are not able to attend mainstream lessons for a variety of reasons and is an important part of the outstanding educational provision offered by Chesterton.
A teaching qualification is not necessary but applicants must be enthusiastic and have a genuine interest in supporting students with challenging circumstances. This role is focused on making a difference in the lives of vulnerable learners. It is a challenge, but it is also a fantastic opportunity to help a group of young people achieve their ambitions.
