Salary £28-35k - negotiable to reflect experience and skills.
Location: Sutton in Ashfield, Notts

Established in 1991, DMW Logistics is a 3PL service provider helping growing businesses and established brands with warehouse, distribution and contract pack solutions. With ambitious plans for further growth, we currently have around 100 people in our friendly and professional team. Reporting to the Operations Director, the Warehouse Operations Managers principle responsibilities are:

• day-to-day operational management of a busy order-pick warehouse (200,000 sq ft)
• organise resources to achieve workloads and meet deadlines within cost budgets
• ensure achievement of customer service promises
• review and develop warehouse management systems, processes and procedures
• manage warehouse staff with responsibility for recruitment, discipline, welfare and training
• manage Health and Safety
• represent DMW in dealings with customers at all levels and assist with business development
• represent Warehouse Operations within the management group, liaising closely with colleagues.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• knowledge of warehouse operations, ideally in a third party environment
• experience with sophisticated WMS and IT
• staff and resource management ability
• knowledge of Health and Safety requirements, preferably certified and including COMAH and/or storage and handling of Dangerous Goods
• numeracy and understanding of business finance
• proven ability to lead, motivate, delegate, organise and problem-solve.
