CER Education are currently searching for a quality Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely Year 1 class in a warm and friendly Primary School in Bishop Auckland.

You will be working alongside an outstanding and experienced class teacher, helping her to deliver fun and engaging lessons to pupils of mixed abilities and backgrounds.

The school have recently been graded 'Good' by Ofsted and are keen to build on this solid foundation. The Head teacher is searching for a Teaching Assistant with some experience in SEN, ideally.

You will have some experience in a Primary School, however if you are a graduate with aspirations of becoming a Primary School Teacher then please feel free to apply.

Information about the KS1 Teaching Assistant Role

• Full Time Year 1/KS1 Teaching Assistant
• GBP55- GBP85 Per Day Full-Time - Rest of Academic Year
• Start ASAP
• Great training and support
• Phonics, Maths and Literacy in small groups and 1:1
• Immediate start available, upon completion of a successful trial day

Year 1 / KS1 Teaching Assistant Specification

• Experience with KS1 / KS2 children preferred
• Previous experience of working within a school is ideal
• Passionate about working with children
• Confident, charismatic and patient
• DBS registration required (CER Education can help you with this if you don????????t already have one)

Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is not essential, however we do ask that you have at least 3 months experience in a role that involves working with Children in a professional setting.
