MHR are offering the exciting opportunity for experienced Payroll Consultants to join our rapidly expanding Projects team.
Reporting to the Professional Services Delivery Manager you will be responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience through the results-focused delivery of high quality Payroll consultancy services, leading on delivery of best practice and influencing the future delivery of Payroll consultancy services.
The duties in this role include:
* Providing high quality Payroll consultancy services to customers and prospects to achieve strategic and operational outcomes
* Delivery of business change with support through cutting edge technology
* Seeking efficiencies and added value in all consultancy delivery as an acknowledged expert
* Act as lead consultant on projects, coordinating activities and resource with the project manager
* Proactively keeping up to date with relevant legislation and evolution in best practice in order to maintain relevance and improve the services provided.
* Supporting the management team to ensure delivery of business plan
* Consistently deliver expert knowledge of MHR products and services
* Assist project managers in identifying work packages
* Clearly communicate progress, issues and risks to the appropriate stakeholders
* Identify and retain ownership of risks and issues, escalating only when necessary
Please note that this role is offered on a home-based contract with extensive travel across the UK.
Experience Required:
* Proven delivery of results in a business change environment
* Payroll systems experience as a lead consultant, iTrent experience is preferred but not essential
* Demonstrable commercial awareness
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Well organised and methodical with meticulous attention to detail
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Ideally CIPP qualified (or working towards a qualification)
