INSPECTOR / CLERK OF WORKS
Salary: Grade 5 - GBP23,398 to GBP27,668
Contract: Part time, Permanent
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Based: Worthing Town Hall
The Council's Engineering Section undertakes a broad range of civil, municipal and environmental engineering work on behalf of both Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council.
An experienced and diligent Inspector/Clerk of Works is required to undertake routine inspections of Council hard surfaces and other assets. Assist with the supervision and inspection of civil construction work, site surveys and general assistance with the day to day running of the service.
You'll also engage and consult with a wide range of stakeholders, from landowners, residents, developers, contractors and other Council services. You'll be comfortable communicating with people of all levels and proactive in your approach.
Starting salary will be dependent on experience, qualifications and ability. Applicants will need a full driving license.
