The Charity

Ups and Downs Southwest is a Down Syndrome Support charity working with children, families and professionals across the South West. We carry out direct family support work and offer training packages to professionals from the health, education and social care sectors. With over 20 years' experience, we are the go to' service for all families, professionals and all those involved in the care and education of children and young people who have Down Syndrome.

The Position

The Family Support School Liaison Worker will play a key role in the support offered to families and educational professionals in relation to the inclusion and attainment of pupils with Down Syndrome in mainstream primary and secondary schools across Somerset, North Somerset and Dorset.

The Location

The successful applicant will be joining the small but busy team based in Westonzoyland which is just 4 miles outside the town of Bridgwater.
