The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) is a charity dedicated to promoting engagement with the visual arts. We own and run the RBSA Gallery, just off St Paul's Square in Birmingham and are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Administrator to join our dedicated and energetic team.

Working Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9.00am to 5.15pm (with a 30 minute lunch break), your role will be to take responsibility for accounts and membership administration in our busy contemporary art gallery.

This will include invoice and payment processing using Sage Line 50, account and bank reconciliations, payroll processing using Sage Payroll, producing financial reports and projections and managing our membership database, as well as completing a variety of administrative tasks.

A key player in a small team, you will be educated to at least A-Level (or equivalent), have substantial experience of accounts administration, be proficient in the use of Microsoft and Sage software, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work on your own initiative. It will be advantageous for applicants to have wider skill sets and a willingness to support the Society's objectives.
