Support Worker

Do you like a challenge? If so we are looking for a confident, strong and calm individual to work in our South View 24hr supported living service to provide person centred support to service users who have either a learning disability; mental health; and some behaviours that challenge so that they can experience a wide range of activities. The post is initially to cover maternity leave for a 12 month period.

You will have skills in positive communication and engagement and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support. You will have the maturity to be able to work within a positive behaviour support framework, to accept responsibility and to grow in confidence as a skilled practitioner. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and to work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos demonstrating high workplace values.

You will need to be flexible and able to deliver support in all aspects of daily living and personal care in a dignified manner.
