Group Financial Controller

Our client, a listed consumer goods group, is recruiting a Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include all aspects of group reporting, development of statutory reporting and finance systems and processes, and the management and development of a team supporting multiple divisions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership and development of a team responsible for working with business operations
• Delivery of group consolidation and external reporting and leading group budgeting and forecasting
• Managing external audit and banking relationships and working with key stakeholders at divisional and group level
• Developing accounting policy and procedure across the group, whilst managing key strategic projects such as working capital improvement

To apply, you must be a Qualified Accountant with strong technical and group reporting experience, preferably with a complex group. You will have strong financial reporting, group budgeting, people management, finance systems and controls experience and will be looking for an opportunity that will cover all aspects of group finance. You may be working in Industry or looking for a move from a senior role in Practice, but you must have the ability to implement change by building relationships and influencing.
