We are searching for an Account Manager to look after the Robotic Solutions division of Epson UK. Reporting into the Sales Manager for Robotic Solutions, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing the business sales plan for designated customers and partners in order to generate business growth and maximise sales of Epson's Robotic Solutions categories of products. This role is field based across the UK (largely in the Midlands and North with occasional travel within Europe) with the need to attend offices at Telford when required. Key Responsibilities: Sales: Promote the Epson range of products to increase sales growth into specific reseller and end user markets for robots and related services Set and achieve quarterly targets for aligned accounts and defined product range Develop and implement the business sales plan for optimal customer portfolio management Account planning with aligned channel partners in order to identify and qualify new opportunities for growth Maintain an opportunity pipeline for key end user of Epson Robotic Solutions. Pass opportunities in defined verticals to vertical/product specialists and pass other opportunities to Account managers Maximise opportunities from corporate account managers and other vertical account managers like BS Communications and Reporting: Follow and monitor the forecasting process for the assigned market and provide the utmost accuracy by supporting the managers with the relevant information and "enrichment" Collate competitive market place information. Provide structured feedback and input to promotional activities with this knowledge Manage the development and implementation of the CRM initiative, as required Identification of relevant customer case studies for onward use internally within Epson and/or external use Co-ordinate assistance from other support departments to provide resource, as required for the specified accounts Work effectively with local Epson distributor and SI/end user to optimise Epson's sales Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Direct account management background preferable Experience in managing industrial goods or robotic sales Experience of working in a Sales environment with proven record of achieving success through the development of profitable sales in reseller accounts Strong negotiating, influencing and communication skills with an innovative approach Evidence of academic achievement Commercially aware and numerate, used to operating in a solutions driven environment Experience working with key decision makers to develop account plans and implement tactical solutions Strong IT skills, including a good understanding of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
