A fantastic opportunity is immediately available for a driven and ambitious Structural Engineer to become a leading part of a highly respected multi-disciplinary consultancy based in their Cardiff office. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to play an important part in the delivery of a diverse range of projects across the residential, commercial and industrial sectors amongst others. Our client is looking to offer a salary of up to GBP35,000 in addition to offering an exciting benefits package and a company pension.

In order to be considered for this Structural Engineer role you will:

• Hold a good degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Be working towards the completion of chartership
• Possess at least 3 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy
• Possess experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry
• Be proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Possess an excellent knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key responsibilities of this Structural Engineer role include:

• Work directly alongside highly experienced and chartered engineers
• Play an important part in projects delivery from inception to completion
• Attend site projects and design meetings as required
• Aid the development of more junior employees
• Write reports, carry out calculations and conduct surveys as required
• Liaise closely with a range of valued clients on a range of issues
