Their goal is to create places where everyone feels proud to live and they will build at least 500 new homes a year. They are one of the top 25 developing housing associations, employ around 350 staff and own or manage over 18 000 homes for people at all life stages. In 2016/17 they had an annual turnover of over GBP 120 million.

Reporting to the Home Manager, the Home Agent will play a key role in providing a pro-active tenancy and neighbourhood management service for all residents by delivering customer-focussed services, and manage tenancy breaches whilst working to build strong, sustainable communities.

About you

- You must be able to work alone and you will be able to work without direct supervision, show initiative and make decisions, along with being able to work as part of a wider team.
- Live within close proximity to either Cambridge or St.
- Have a good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Able to demonstrate a good understanding of social and affordable housing.
- Have substantial experience of dealing with a range of customers and difficult situations and a good Knowledge of tenancy agreements and tenancy management processes within a social housing setting.
- You will have an awareness of relevant social and welfare policy changes affecting communities and social housing residents.
- Ability to show an understanding of welfare benefits and budget management.
- Highly organised and able to show great attention to detail with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload in a reactive environment.
- You will possess strong analytical and reporting skills.
- You must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be committed to constantly improving their services to their colleagues and customers.
- You will also be a good communicator, with the ability to engage positively with people, and be able to provide good quality, clear information to both internal and external stakeholders.
