JOB TITLE: Group HR & Payroll Assistant

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To assist with the day to day operations of the HR and payroll Function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Recruitment
-Liaising with the management team on recruitment needs
-Ensuring relevant paperwork is completed prior to recruitment taking place
-Creating and managing internal and external advertisements as necessary
-Managing our Indeed account including liaising with external agencies as necessary
-Sorting through applicants CVs
-Liaising with candidates for interview
-Sending Offer and rejection letters
-Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed by new starter on first day of employment including obtaining and verifying evidence of right to work documents
-Issue and ensure the return of signed contracts

Tensor:

-Create and maintain new employee entries
-Update holiday requests
-Log employee absence days
-Run monthly and weekly timesheet reports.

Payroll:

-Calculating employees weekly hours
-Accurately processing both weekly and monthly payroll
-Answering payroll questions
-Ensuring resolutions to any payroll errors are done in a timely manner

General HR Duties:

-Answering employee queries
-Provide second line advice to all levels of the business.
-Supporting Group HR Officer with the preparation of disciplinary, grievance, AWOL and absence letters
-Probations
-Amendment letters
-References
-Resignation acceptance letters
-Maternity/Paternity confirmations
-Record maintenance

Any other adhoc duties/projects required to support the HR Officer.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: The role reports to the Group HR Officer.

RELATING TO PEOPLE INTERNALLY:
Ability to maintain a strong working relationship with all levels of staff in all businesses to ensure compliance with Company policy and procedures. Ability to work to tight deadlines to support business SLAs.

ELATING TO PEOPLE EXTERNALLY:
Ability to liaise with external bodies for recruitment. Must be able to represent the Company in a professional manner
