Marketing and Communications Manager

This a great opportunity for a creative and entrepreneurial Marketing Manager to bring their experience and enthusiasm for getting things done to this additional post, created through internal promotion, and within a leading UK manufacturer that is in a phase of positive change and growth.

The new Marketing & Communications Manager will build on a strong track record of success, whilst bringing their own fresh approach to the Marketing and Communications strategy.

The role requires hands-on day-to-day management of all Marketing activities for two established brands, plus a recently launched Consultancy brand. You will be responsible for developing strategy and implementation of Marketing and Communications

As well as the responsibility for all outgoing Marketing Communications and activities, you will also be in charge of Internal Communications and for supporting culture change programmes.

In turn, you will have, and be:

- A credible and relevant career track record, showing experience of working at senior management level, contributing to strategic decision making, managing and developing brands and overseeing Marketing, PR, Events and Internal Communications
- A robust, flexible individual with the ability to work under pressure. A strong, supportive and collaborative management style.
- A great understanding of B2B Marketing, the desire to deliver original campaigns and communications, and with a total commitment to being customer focused.
- First rate copywriting and communications skills, plus experience of event management.
- Good people management skills to lead and develop a small team, and also manage the output of a wide range of out-house freelancers and agencies.
- An excellent understanding of, and original ideas about, brand management, product launches, commissioning and utilising Market Research.
