A number of term time only, permanent posts are available to commence as soon as possible and are part of the University’s Wellbeing and Welfare Team, operationally based within Education Support. The hours for these roles are 33 hours per week for 30 weeks per year (0.6 FTE).
The role
The Education Support Assistant (Welfare) will be managed by an Education Support Advisor (Welfare) who will have responsibility for a package of Health, Wellbeing and Support for Study (HWSS) activity and general welfare support.
These posts will be expected to provide general administrative assistance to the Education Support Advisor (Welfare), principally in support of the University’s formal HWSS process. We are looking for committed and organised individuals with excellent note-taking skills and a good knowledge of confidentiality and Data Protection issues.

The successful applicants for this post will have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a large team in order to meet peak demand needs across the service.

The salary offered will be from £16,654 to £18,777 per annum pro rata on Grade C depending on qualifications and experience.
