Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the purpose of this role is to provide central administrative support to the sales and operations teams. The post-holder will carry out a number of administrative, sales and operational tasks for the department including successfully executing a Sales Plan, by utilising a full range of Inside Sales techniques (telephone, teleconference, email, direct mail).

The Inside Sales & Delivery Consultant will also be responsible for executing lead nurturing campaigns in-order to progress prospects to qualification as sales opportunities. The primary customer is the module leader within Higher Education institutions.

  • Take personal ownership for proper conduct, activity levels, achieve agreed daily and weekly targets
  • Conduct effective phone and web-ex meetings
  • Conduct effective face to face meetings as and when required
  • Follow up with all prospects assigned in-line with service level agreements
  • Submit activity reports in agreed format and to agreed deadlines

Qualifications

Key Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of working in a sales role, with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Experienced in providing a high level of customer service and meeting SLAs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in executing sales plans
  • Ideal: experience in education sector, and selling digital products, solutions & services
  • Target and performance driven, Selling and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated, energetic and resilient, with the ability to work independently. managing own time and prioritising effectively..
  • Exceptional listening skills, Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational, time management, prioritisation and planning skills.
  • Excellent written communications skills, attention to detail and meticulous record keeping
  • Demonstrate collaborative attitude and behaviour consistent with team and organisational values
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and skills. Comfortable with digital and print media
  • Office based but willingness to travel as required
