The Company: Our client, founded in 1960, is a well-respected supplier of "Second to none" service within the Transport & Distribution industry and has one of the largest privately owned fleets in Birmingham. Due to expansion, there is currently an exciting opportunity for an HGV Technician to join the team.

The Role: As an HGV Technician, you will have a varied role, servicing, repairing and maintaining numerous fleet vehicles.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• PMIs
• Servicing
• Repairs
• Fabrication
• Hydraulics
• Conversions
• Rebuilds

The Candidate: To be considered for the role of HGV Technician, you must hold a City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicles or equivalent and have good knowledge of diagnostics. A LOLER qualification and manufacturer qualifications (i.e. Scania, Iveco, etc.) would be advantageous, but are not essential. Previous experience within a similar role would also be desirable, however our client is open to considering newly qualified Technicians.

Essential Candidate Criteria:

• City & Guilds in Heavy vehicles or equivalent
• Good knowledge of diagnostics
• IT literacy

Desirable Candidate Criteria:

• LOLER qualification
• Manufacturer qualifications (i.e. Scania, Iveco, etc.)
• Previous experience in a similar role / actively involved within the industry
