A lovely opportunity to join this growing company based in Croydon - 5 mins from East Croydon

We are looking for a strong administrator with advanced Excel and excellent numeracy skills. If you have experience within Insurance this would be an advantage but not essential.

Hours - 9-5 Monday to Friday

JOB SUMMARY

Key support role to the business. No budget or staff responsibilities.

Office based role. Incoming work to be distributed by Head of Administration - Life & Pensions.

Adherence and implementation of Company policies and responsibilities in respect of regulated activities, conduct risk and TCF.

There will be regular departmental meetings to discuss administration requirements of the department.

The role will include dealing with inputting of data onto excel spreadsheets for EPS and MUPS schemes.

Communicating with clients and prospective clients regarding the above scheme.

KEY TASKS

Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner.

Input contribution data onto excel spreadsheets for EPS and MUPS and produce reports.

Input accurate data onto the back office systems.

Provide information to Equity and Musician Union members to enable them to join the above schemes.

Provide contribution histories to the above members as and when required to assist them with their tax returns.

Process change of address advices and direct debit requests on back office system and advise relevant Insurers.

Taking responsibility for actioning and updating Diary System as directed and within defined time scale. 08

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

External : Customers : As required in the course of the processing of insurance products.

Insurance Companies: As required in the course of the processing of insurance products.

Internal: Head of Administration/Financial Advisers: Work allocation, issue resolution, HR issues.

Senior Staff/ Management: Provide Information when requested.

Compliance Officer: Obtain technical advice.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Numeracy/Accuracy

Communication skills - able to communicate to people, with various levels of knowledge, over the telephone and in writing.

Planning, organisational and time management skills.

Problem solving

Computer literate and thorough

QUALIFICATIONS

O level / GCSE standard of education ( or equivalent)

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

Highly proficient in Excel and would be useful to have an understanding of pensions.
