The QC Supervisor will be responsible for the overall performance of the QC Laboratory service to Manufacturing.  You will provide a link between Operations, Customer Service, Quality Management and the Technical team through implementing / improving current processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• To coordinate and assist with the daily laboratory testing schedule in order to support and maximise factory throughput.
• To plan and organise laboratory activities in order to accommodate non-routine testing requirements.
• To identify, report and act on instances of Quality concern in order to ensure CAPAs are established.
• To analyse process data in order to maintain and report Key Process measures.

The ideal QC Supervisor will demonstrate competencies in the following areas:

• Previous experience of QC lab functions and working within a Quality Management System.
• Previous experience of people management.
• Comfortable and effective communication with personnel of all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good understanding of ERP systems.
• Minimum A-level or equivalent education in scientific disciplines (particularly chemistry).
• Based within easily commutable distance to the office in Swillington.
