CGI's EUT business unit shapes and delivers solutions at the heart of GB energy markets. We advise on, formulate, deliver and service some of the largest and most business critical programmes in the sector. This encompasses all aspects of the value chain from upstream production/generation, through wholesale markets and networks infrastructure to downstream B2B and B2C supply and smart metering. Our EUT Retail Energy practice is expanding to further innovate and deliver solutions for existing and new clients. In this arena we work with a wide range of participants including the largest suppliers in the market, pan-European vertically integrated and small/medium size retailers. We cover the full project lifecycle from industry advisory, business change, solution strategy scoping, requirements, design, implementation and support utilising the leading technology packages.
Your future duties and responsibilities: You will be part of a team that provides deep specialist knowledge and delivery of solutions within the Electricity and Gas Retail markets. This will include working with both B2B and B2C energy suppliers. Your role will involve work across the full implementation lifecycle, including analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements, business process analysis, strategic solution recommendations and solution architecture, design, testing and cut-over.
You will also work across one or more of the following areas within the UK energy market: pricing and costing, CRM, dumb/smart metering, data flow management, billing, collections, digital channels, demand forecasting, and settlements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: The ideal person for this role will have experience in UK Electricity and/or Gas Suppliers including experience of working in transformational roles. We are looking for both junior and senior consultants.
B2B or B2C experience across one or more of; pricing and costing, CRM, dumb/smart metering, data flow management, billing, collections, digital channels, demand forecasting, settlements is essential
You will have experience of working as a Business or Technical Analyst in the Energy industry ideally leading assignments supporting business and/or IT transformation. Knowledge of current and future industry and regulatory change is important, as is a track record of finding innovative solutions to business challenges.
Having the ability to create and maintain clearly written business requirements and functional system design documentation and knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycles is essential.
You must have the ability to work as part of a larger team, but also be able to work alone when required. You will have strong communication skills, multi-tasking skills and must have the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
We are flexible on base locations, but will require you to have a flexible attitude towards travel to other CGI and client sites.

• Development of business cases.
• Change delivery methods (Waterfall/Agile).
• Project Management.
