Penguin Recruitment is acting on behalf of a small, multi-disciplinary consultancy, who are looking to recruit a Transport Planner into their Birmingham team. The organisation delivers strategic development, infrastructure and regeneration projects across the country, with a reputation for excelling on challenging sites.
The successful candidate will contribute toward major developments and assist in driving the transport and highways services offered by the business.
Candidate Specification:
* Strong background in development planning;
* Familiar with highways standards such as DMRB & Manual for Streets;
* Proficiency with Trics, Arcady, Picady & LinSig;
* Excellent report writing ability, including transport assessments & statements;
* Ability to deliver and present to clients & regulatory bodies;
* Based in Birmingham.
This opportunity would be an ideal progression for transport planners with a couple of years' industry experience, who are looking to tackle greater levels of responsibility.
The organisation is committed to developing their staff, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work toward Technical Director level through a structured pathway.
