We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst (Support, Manager) tojoin our Strategy and Architecture team in Exeter IT. You will reviewand analyse the business in terms of its existing IT services andsupporting business processes, to identify business problems andopportunities for improvement, and facilitate identifying the best wayto effect business change for achieving its business goals. The Technical Business Analyst (Support, Manager) role: - You will be dedicated to working with the Architecture Team to lookfor new technologies to optimize business processes. - You will lead on the analysis for the business in terms of itscurrent IT services and supporting business processes to identifybusiness problems and opportunities for improvement. - You will be responsible for liaising with key partners in theColleges and Professional Services to develop a demonstrableunderstanding of how IT services in the business are currently operatingand how the future goals of the business can be met with yourimplementations or changes to existing systems. - You will oversee and lead on conducting interviews to map customerjourneys, gather user requirements and translate into functional andnon-functional requirements, and where applicable, develop prototypesbased on the user requirements. You will: - Have recent experience of business and technical requirementsanalysis, elicitation, modelling, verification, and methodologydevelopment, demonstrating an eye for business, balancing financial,quality, people and customer expectations - Have shown ability in business and technical requirements analysis,including writing business cases, benefits analysis, developingrequirements, and impact assessments. - Have examples that show your the ability to understand complexconceptual ideas and experience in conveying information to senior partners. - You will be experienced in the use of software engineering tools andprogramming methods. - Have experience being responsible for the design, development, andimplementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. - You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevantacademic area.
