THE ROLE
A great opportunity for a STRUCTURAL CAD TECHNICIAN to join my client, a successful firm of consulting engineers in their office in COUNTY DURHAM.
You will working on a wide range of projects in the private and public sectors.
THE COMPANY
Our client is a successful firm of consulting engineers workng on civil, structural and geotechnical engineering.
They have several UK offices.
They offer excellent ongoing training and CPD.
THE CANDIDATE
You will need to have a Diploma or Degree or similar in Civil or Structural Engineering and have good AutoCAD experience (at least 3 years AutoCAD experience of more).
Any experience in the use of REVIT would be a bonus.
You will need to have worked on most construction and building types including timber, masonry, structural steel and concrete.
You should be able to work closely with the engineers.
You may also have an understanding or some experience of BIM.
You should be able to coordinate projects and be technically competent with modelling and draughting of structures to current design standards and be able to work from design information given to you by the engineer.
Salary is very negotiable according to your experience plus range of benefits.
