My client, a market leading, UK based Engineering and Planning Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant who has a passion for Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling to join their friendly and supportive Team of Engineers and Consultants based in Bristol.
Applicants are required to have a MSc and BSc in Hydrology, River Basin Dynamics or Civil Engineering and have experience working within a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and/or Tuflow.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Drainage Design using Microdrainage.
As a Senior Flood Risk Consultant you will have the opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team of Engineers and Consultants based in Bristol to complete Flood Risk, Hydraulic Modelling, Drainage, Residential and Commercial Development Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies and Private Sector Clients.
Candidates will be supported to complete;
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.
-Flood Estimation using FEH, Winfap and ReFH.
-Surface Water and Foul Water Drainage Strategy and Design using Microdrainage (support will be provided).
-Hydraulic Modelling, Model Build, Verification using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.
