Embedded Linux Engineer

I am looking for multiple Embedded Linux Engineers to join a client of mine based in Bristol. As a success candidate you will be working alone or in a small team and have regular customer contact. Responsibilities: Developing board support packages (BSP) for our customers' custom hardware Customising BSPs to provide additional functionality, e.g. software update, security, boot time, optimisation etc Writing device drivers for bootloaders and the Linux kernel Finding solutions to customer problems I am looking for someone with the majority of these skills: Experience in developing for embedded systems Experience in Linux kernel and bootloader development Experience in board-bring up Experience in using opensource tools and the opensource community Experience in distribution creators such as Yocto, Buildroot, LTIB Ability to travel Ability to work independently and communicate effectively Strong passion for embedded Linux and learning Flair for finding solutions to difficult and complex problems in unfamiliar areas with limited time Ability to use and manage time effectively This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your embedded Linux capabilities.
