The Successful Technical Operative will have the following role:
- To ensure product safety, quality and legality through effective HACCP and Quality Systems.
- To ensure products and processes meet customer specifications within a fast moving, short shelf life environment.
- To ensure that food materials dispatched are safe, legal and of the quality expected by the business and customer.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Experience of production environment within a food industry
- Experience of quality assurance
- Experience in Training others
- Preferred
- Experience in Environmental issues
- Knowledge and experience of major retailers.
Training & Education
Essential
- Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification
- Internal Auditor
- HACCP Level 2 or above
- Allergen Awareness
- Root Cause Analysis training
- Pest Awareness
- Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
- Team player and team builder
