Salary: £ 32,000 - £36,000 dependent on experience + Essential Car User Allowance

35 hours per week

Housingrecruit.com is currently advertising for a Project Surveyor on behalf of our client, a leading social housing provider based in South-East London.

The Stock Improvement Team is a vital part of the Property Services Department, providing the expertise required to continuously improve and upgrade the organisation’s existing housing stock to improve energy efficiency.  As a Project Surveyor, you will take a lead role in the management and delivery of the stock improvement and major works programmes.  

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Project Surveyor to join their Team.  Your excellent communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with a wide range of people including residents, client departments, consultants and contractors.  This is a challenging role which will provide you with the opportunity to develop your career and expand your knowledge of surveying.  The ideal candidate will have:-

  • Proven background in planned maintenance, negotiation and contract procurement
  • Sound knowledge of building construction
  • Excellent spreadsheet skill and stock database skills
  • Knowledge of managing and implementing actions arising from Fire Risk Assessments
