The Financial Management Service provides accountancy and financial advisory services to a wide range of clients, working closely with Council Services and supporting external agencies.
The role will involve providing high quality financial management support regarding all accountancy matters. Specific responsibilities include budget preparation and monitoring, closure of accounts and completion of statistical returns.
We are ideally seeking candidates who are AAT qualified or are studying towards a CCAB qualification, with an awareness of local government finance.
