Internal Sales

We're working alongside a long standing Bradford based Logistics Company, who are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to join their dynamic office team.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate with experience in the freight industry to join a busy Ocean department.

Within the role your duties will mainly involve working in as part of the team to answer customer queries, and provide Ocean freight quotations from customers and agents. Your main duties will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for customers and agents, via email and telephone
Answering queries and completing quotations for LCL and FCL
Following up on customer quotations for feedback and sales
Compiling monthly reports on quotations supplied
Booking consignments with carriers for import and export, liaising with operational staff to ensure

We're looking for confident candidates with excellent communication skills.
You'll need to be able to work to strict deadlines and be a good team player and be proficient in the Microsoft office package, including Excel.
Previous experience in a logistics or freight background with import/export experience is essential for this role.

In return our client offers a salary of £22,000 - £24,000
