Currently, they are looking for a number of Claims Handlers with varying levels of experience to join their vibrant and expanding team in Egham.

As a Claims Handler, you will provide a high-quality service to customers using our client’s insurance services.

Managing your own caseload, you’ll liaise with insurance companies, third parties and legal partners, collate documentation and evidence to support the claim and work towards agreed recovery targets.

Specifically, you will:

- Handle claims relating to the recovery of credit hire and storage and recovery invoices
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide them with claim updates
- Negotiate liability and quantum with third party representatives
- Accurately record information on our client’s claim management system
- Manage relationships with solicitors

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need experience gained within the motorcycle and/or automotive insurance sector. Our client is also interested in hearing from motorcyclists with customer service and/or call centre experience.

As a Claims Handler, you’ll have a confident telephone manner, as well as great written and verbal communication skills. Enthusiastic and eager to help, you’ll also be an excellent negotiator with a keen eye for detail.

Ideally, you’ll have a CII certificate, but this isn’t essential. Experience in a credit hire claims handling role would also be an advantage, as would a good understanding of road traffic liability case law and credit hire case law.
