Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Book Keeper for our prestigious client based in the Yardley area of Birmingham.

This is a minimum 12 month contract to cover maternity. GBP10 to GBP13 per hour.

The working week would be a minimum of 20 - 25 hours per week which can be over 3 or 4 week days to suit the successful candidate although this would need to be flexible at month and quarter end.

Duties will include:-
- Sales Ledger including invoicing and monthly statements
- Purchase Ledger including invoicing and payments
- Credit Control
- Nominal Ledger
- Payroll including HMRC returns and auto enrolment
- Cashbook
- Petty Cash
- Banking including bank reconciliations and manual banking
- VAT Returns
- Credit Checks

Previous experience of QuickBooks would be an advantage although not essential.
