EPOS Engineer
North West Leicestershire
Up to GBP25,000 + Company Bonus (Package cGBP30,000) + Company van & fuel

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EPOS Engineer to join our highly regarded client and play a key role in supporting hardware and software installation projects.
Key duties and responsibilities for the EPOS Engineer include:
• Attending customer sites and meetings to scope out project requirements
• Attending pilot installations to determine and recommend best installation practices
• Staging and configuration of EPOS equipment and payment devices, operating systems/software loading and configuration
• Carrying out firmware updates and documenting processes
• Creation of installation scripts and supporting documents for 3rd parties
• Delivering on site staff training to customers as required
Experience and skills required for the EPOS Engineer include:
• Excellent working knowledge of EPOS systems and peripherals, maintenance and installations
• Micros/Oracle EPOS hardware/ software experience would be advantageous
• Knowledge of payments devices is desirable, but not essential, as training will be provided
• Good working knowledge of MS Windows
• Knowledge of Android and IOS operating systems
• Working knowledge of Networks wired and wireless/ Switches/ Routers/ IP addressing
• Good working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Flexibility of working hours due to nature of role (some overnight stays are possible)
• Self-motivated, ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Full driving licence
