DESCRIPTION
Working closely with our wider HR Teams and the Business Change department, the Head of HR Change will lead all aspects of the HR governance structure and champion the transformation change agenda across HR from assessing, preparing, planning and implementing cross functional strategic change.
The role will manage a small team of HR Change and Project specialists and build strong collaborative relationships with Senior Management and Director level stakeholders.
You will
- Lead the development of the transformation people change agenda
- Understand and align strategic objectives to develop a clear vision and annual HR change plan
- Translate business strategic goals into measurable outcomes for each programme of work
- Develop the people change strategy to support new business initiatives, products and propositions
- Identify the case for change, completing change readiness assessments, influencing change and communicating change effectively
- Work with HR SLT & wider programme / transformation teams to scope and lead the delivery of all major change initiatives and Group HR People plan initiatives
- Successfully lead and develop the HR change team
- Ensure each change programme/project follows a consistent approach/methodology from identification stage through to implementation (owning the HR Change framework & toolkits)
- Ensure the HR change function tracks projects to time and budget and delivers against the measures of success
- Provide coaching and support to the business area on all people change related matters
- Build the change and project management capability across HR
- Deliver strategic and focused people initiatives with a clear link to delivering business strategy and driving business performance
- Successfully own the overall HR governance process; weekly programme steering boards, SLT dashboards, HR change board, HR change portfolio board and the HR steering board
- Own the Group HR flight plans to provide one version of the truth; strategic & tactical annual calendars
- Own all aspects of the HR Portfolio Management Office (PMO); financial management, risks & issues, planning, governance, project & programme management and reporting
- Own all aspects of the HR Project & programme management HR toolkits and frameworks
You will have
- Extensive experience in proactively understanding business challenges and partnering with Management to develop HR mechanisms to deliver business plans.
- Experience of driving change initiatives, change programmes and embedding behaviours
- Previous experience of delivering innovative HR initiatives, particularly around M&A, employee engagement, organisation design, consultation and workforce planning
- Experience of leading a team of HR change and project management professionals
- Prince 2 Qualified
