Now’s an exciting time to join Knightstone Housing as we come together with DCH Group to become the largest housing association in the South West, increasing our capacity to provide much needed housing and to deliver great service to our customers.
We are looking for a Scheme Manager to work 37.5 hours a week over 5 days (Monday-Friday) to provide support and housing management services to our residents, splitting your time between Knightstone House, Kingsdown and Knightstone Gardens, Knowle, Bristol.
This is a total of 49 flats for people over aged 60 with support needs. You will be responsible for managing these two schemes and will support residents to maintain their tenancies, enabling them to remain independent within their own homes for as long as possible.
Your responsibilities will include identifying residents support needs and completing Support Plans to ensure the appropriate support is provided. You will also monitor rent accounts to prevent residents falling into arrears and manage voids and lettings as they arise. You will also be responsible for carrying out housing management duties and regular health and safety inspections to ensure the scheme is safe.
Applicants will need to display commitment to delivering excellent customer service to what is sometimes a demanding client group, have good computer skills and excellent verbal and written skills. You may be asked on occasions to provide support at another sheltered or extra care scheme when staff are sick or on leave, so access to a vehicle will be essential.
