WHAT WILL YOUR JOB PURPOSE BE?
GSK must regularly report how it is managing its Enterprise Risks to both internal audiences (CET, ROCC, ARC) and externally (Annual Report etc). These reports are intended to provide transparency of GSK's risk position and strategy and provide assurance that these risks are being managed adequately.

This role will lead the strategy, delivery and enhancement of GEC reports to ROCC, CET, ARC and any wider statutory needs of GSK by critically reviewing and reporting on how Enterprise risks are being identified and addressed to key internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT WILL YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BE?
Strategy
• Responsibility for compliance with the UK Financial Reporting Council's (FRC) UK Corporate Governance Code and associated Guidance on Risk Management and Internal Control in respect of Global Ethics and Compliance (GEC) reporting.
• Responsibility for the ARC and ROCC annual reporting schedule and to liaise with the Company Secretary to ensure that the schedule is agreed and published
• Accountable for the management, development and co-ordination of both internal and external compliance reporting. Stakeholders include but not limited to: Audit & Risk Committee (ARC), Board, Corporate Executive Team, Business Units, compliance personnel and external bodies such as Dow Jones and Access to Medicines Index.
Delivery
• Accountability for the production of fit for purpose risk reports to key stakeholders with the aim of reducing GSK's level of risk exposure and ensuring GSK risk reporting is best in class by benchmarking across the pharma and wider industries.
• Responsibility for drafting special purpose communications for executive meetings and managing other ad hoc reporting needs.
• Responsibility for managing and collating the ROCC agenda, coordinating submissions and tracking actions.
Enhancement
Accountability for driving innovation and industry best practice in reporting through external benchmarking, stakeholder feedback and improved use of data/technology.
• GSK
Accountability for the design, tracking and reporting of meaningful metrics and risk indicators and supporting actioning of outcomes, as appropriate. This includes, but is not limited to tracking and reporting of delivery against the GSK Annual Report, the SVP Global Ethics and Compliance Risk Management and Control report and the Business Unit reports to the ARC.

Why You?Basic qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree
• Experience in audit, risk management, compliance and/or Communications/Corporate Governance.
• Great communicator with an analytical mind.

Preferred qualifications:
• Business improvement track record (Lean sigma etc).
• Experience of working in the Pharma sector.
• Proven track record of performing risk assessments of company operations or processes.
• Experience of leading projects and teams to produce specific deliverables on time.
• Communications and reporting experience.
• Knowledge of Corporate Governance requirements
• Proven track record of working in a matrix environment and building strong working relationships with senior management.
• Engagement with VP / SVP level stakeholders.
