Job Type: Full-time

A couple required for live-in position at a busy student halls development in the Selly Oak area.

The job entails looking after a gated development which accommodates over 100 students.

General duties include ensuring the students are safe and comfortable in their accommodation, also monitoring the security of the site, receiving and signing for post and deliveries and distributing to students.

Cleaning of communal hallways, stairs and laundry room.

Gardening and generally keeping the exterior in good order.

The job requires one or both of you who is able to carry out general repairs such as painting, minor plumbing, replacing bulbs, some minor carpentry, would suit maintenance worker.

Generally overseeing and taking control of the development in a responsible and assertive way.

The position is joint, and should be viewed as a working partnership between the couple. The job is not suitable for one person.

The position includes accommodation of a 2 bedroom ground floor flat, council tax, water and electric bills, plus salary and on the job training.

Previous experience in a similar position is preferred, successful applicants will be required to have a DBS check due to the nature of the job. No pets allowed.
