Our Client is looking to recruit an opportunity for a Transport Planner to bebased in Faversham on a Fixed-Term Contract.

The Role:
- Dedicated to building the most cost effective and service efficient plan possible
- Ensuring forward planning on the M&S Foods contracts in relation to drivers’ rotas
- Driver’s hour’s management including working with agency providers to ensure forward planning is maximised and maintained to cover peak and holiday requirements
- Ensure that all work is covered and that it complies with current legislation and Company rules/guidelines
Applicants will have a flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns to facilitate operational requirements, including weekend working to meet the demands of our operation.

- Previous experience of working in a Transport Department would be an advantage
Additional Information:
- This role requires weekend and Bank Holiday working
- Overtime working may be required.
- This role requires a flexible approach both to hours and duties
- Own transport is preferable
