The AIM-listed SCISYS Group is a leading developer of information and communications technology services, integrated systems, e-business and advanced technology solutions.
We are looking for an In House Recruiter to join our HR Team and manage our recruitment process. Working closely with the Hiring Managers you will collaborate on strategies to resource the vacancies in order to facilitate the company’s growth plans. You will also help us build on our employer brand through social media and other advertising channels.
Although you will be based at our Chippenham HQ the role will require flexibility as you will also be supporting recruitment at our Bristol office. You may have an HR background with specific recruitment expertise or be currently working in an agency looking to move in-house.
Key Responsibilities
- Extensive, detailed use of social media as a recruitment tool
- Proactively source candidates and develop communication strategies
- Determine best places to advertise and monitor trends i.e. job boards, careers pages
- Understand vacancy requirements and create interesting job ads
- Proactively source candidates and develop communication strategies
- Manage agency relationships
- Screen applications and keep candidates updated of progress
- Participate in interviews
- Monitor recruitment statistics and trends
- Participate in careers fairs and STEM activities
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment, preferably IT. In house recruitment or agency experience are both desirable
- Experience of working on social media platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to proactively engage and influence at all levels of an organisation
- Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Office
- Experience of applicant tracking and sourcing software is desirable
- Organised self-starter used to working on own initiative whilst being a team player
