Mon – Fri: 7:30am – 4pm (Flexible)

Their nationwide operation not only supplies and repairs equipment, they offer service plans and deliver vital health & safety training: adding value for their customers’ businesses.

They are now looking for a Stores Supervisor to join them to manage and be accountable for all Goods In and Goods Out and to assist the Operations Manager in motivating, developing and leading the stores team. This role is key as the Goods In/Goods out department is central to the successful running of the business, therefore you will ensure accurate and reliable stock levels and update and maintain all record keeping, ensuring the smooth running of the department.

Booking in tools, chasing spare parts & overdue orders and carrying out quality checks through the picking and packing process, you will execute stocktakes (monthly, quarterly, annually), communicate between sales reps / workshops and stores and ensure the housekeeping of the Goods In / Despatch area.

With experience in a similar role, a hard-working attitude and the flexibility to work overtime when required, the role will suit someone who has worked in a stores environment in the past and has a proven record of implementing changes and identifying improvement needs. A good knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and being computer literate in major programs such as MS Word, Excel is an advantage along with a good standard of literacy and numeracy and strong communication skills.

Additionally, you will have a proven track record of making changes to procedures in order to ensure efficiency in the process.
