To ensure we keep our teams wellbeing at front and centre of the way we work we are currently looking for a full time Health and Wellness Manager to be based in our Long hanborough offices. The successful candidate will be responsible to establish and deliver a positive Health and Wellness culture in our workplace, not only ensuring we comply with all relevant policies and legislation but leading a step change in the  approach to Health and Wellness across  our teams .

The role
  • To provide leadership and direction to develop, deliver and maintain the Health and Wellness programme for NSF Food UK

  • To passionately engage teams  to adopt a positive Health and Wellness culture.

  • To develop, implement, promote & maintain NSF’s internal Health & Safety policy, strategies, risk assessments, safe systems of work and bespoke training and effective information cascade.

  • To develop proactive health and wellbeing related initiatives and campaigns.

  • To chair the H&S committee and oversee performance of delegated H&S responsibilities.

  • To provide ongoing identification of hazards & risks to NSF, employees, associates, and visitors and to develop programmes and interventions to reduce the risk exposure.

  • To carry out regular reviews to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented.

  • To maintain records of inspection findings, accidents / near misses and other health or safety concerns and producing reports and investigation findings that identify areas for improvement.

  • To manage the use of onsite contractors, remote workers and sub-contractor responsibilities.

  • To develop positive revenue streams by identifying and delivering health and wellness technical services to clients to include but not limited to health & safety, Fire Safety, other related areas audits, coaching and training.
The Person

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Health and safety or Equivalent and possess excellent written and spoken communication skills. A strong negotiator they will have proven success of persuading teams to implement and maintain safety standards. They will be a strong team player with the  proven ability to work in a collaborative manner. The need to understand and interpret complex information and present it simply and accurately is paramount and is the possession of an investigative mind.

Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint are expected along with a full UK Driving License and the willingness and ability to travel.
