As a Senior Engineer within the Alternative Payments team, you will develop technologies that will change how millions of people make payments around the world. You will join one of our cross-functional agile teams, targeting fast, feature development on one of our global payments platforms.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

You will write clean, well structured and secure code using Microsoft technologies. We will want you to develop information systems following business and architectural requirements and develop unit test code to highest possible coverage levels. You'll adopt and promote good practices in agile development, create system requirements from business requirements and proactively identify and suggest improvements to working practices.

We will want you to coach and mentor more junior engineers and be an evangelist for best practice.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

You'll be passionate about software development and working within an agile environment (we use Scrum and Kanban here). We'll want you to demonstrate extensive experience of object oriented design, database development, front- and back end C# development, ASP.NET 4.6.2 and Windows Services. You'll have strong experience with T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2. You'll have experience with Continues Delivery, Continues Integration (Jenkins), RabbitMq, as well as knowledge of web application security and MicroServices.
