ArtisHR are currently supporting an exciting business in Bristol with the recruitment of a Reward Consultant to support a number of changes taking place. This is a permanent full time post paying GBP35,000 with a little flex for the right candidate.

Job purpose:

Support and lead on the development and implementation of reward policies and frameworks, managing the salary review process, research into market practices, developing competitive benefit programmes and managing job evaluation systems.

Key Accountabilities

* Provide and maintain a cost modelling process for pay and benefits development , ensuring latest trends are taken into account from external benchmarking
*Provide job evaluation service for and existing roles and participate in the appropriate external salary benchmark surveys to obtain the appropriate pay data
*Provide written and verbal guidance and support on agreed Reward policies and practices, delivering a 'best in class' customer service within agreed SLA's and quality standards
*Develop knowledge and capability across breadth of Reward function, supporting the capturing, development and documentation of requirements in connection with reward programs and projects so that there are clear terms of reference
*Keep abreast of both internal and external influences, providing proactive input and identifying and recommending improvements to working practices to continuously improve reward programmes provided
*Highlight and escalate any potential issues within policies and processes so we remain compliant at all times

Measures:

*Salary benchmark surveys are completed on time and to high standard, ensuring accuracy and quality of data is maintained.
*Cost modelling in relation to compensation, bonus or benefits is accurate and data integrity maintained.
*External benchmark information is utilised where appropriate and correctly referenced and matched to business needs.
*Customer queries are managed effectively and to agreed SLA's

Skills/Experience & Competencies:

*Working knowledge of compensation and benefit practices
*Strong literacy and numerical skills
*Advanced Excel skills
*Strong track record in presenting complex data in an understandable and engaging fashion
*Highly organised with a methodical approach and a meticulous eye for detail
*Ability to successfully communicate across all levels of the business and build working relationships
*Working to strict deadlines

*Be able to work as part of a team be self-motivated use your own initiative, whilst understanding limits of own authority
*Energy, Drive and Enthusiasm

Dimensions impacted by role:

Financial: the role holder has no direct accountability for any budget or financial spend, but has responsibility to ensure any vendor invoices are reconciled and are accurate before processing. The role holder will also play a key part in increasing employee engagement with their benefit package.

The role holder will have no direct line management responsibilities but will be required to provide support and share knowledge where necessary with colleagues

Operating Environment & Context:

This role will operate within the Shared Services, Reward function and be responsible for activity within the UCI region.
The role holder will therefore be required to work across multiple disciplines within the Reward area, building knowledge and capability across a number of disciplines in order to provide effective support to projects and business as usual activities.
