Finance Systems and MI Manager
City of London
£80000 - £95000 per annum
Company client is sourcing a Finance Systems and MI Manager for an international specialist insurer.
Purpose:
Strategic development, maintenance, control, operation of, and reporting from the finance systems infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
* Development, maintenance, control and operation of finance systems
* Work closely with IT and across Finance to integrate required systems into finance processes, continuously identifying and improving system requirements
* Planning and co-ordinating delivery of the Finance Change Programme, with a focus on system and process changes as a result of IFRS17 requirements
* Lead and co-ordinate transition of new systems processes across the Finance department
* Support and co-ordinate user acceptance testing of finance systems
Requirements:
* Accounting qualification ideal but not required (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
* Good knowledge of Insurance
* Project management experience
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Advanced IT and system skills
* Excellent numeric and analytical skills
