Chartered Quantity Surveyor - NEW YORK

THE ROLE

I am now seeking an MRICS qualified Quantity Surveyor to work for a firm of PQS based in the centre of NEW YORK, USA to mainly work on large commercial, residential and other projects.

THE CLIENT

My client is a large firm of private practice quantity surveying consultants with offices in the UK, New York and elsewhere.

They generally work on interesting high value commercial and residential projects.

THE CANDIDATE

Their office in NEW YORK, USA is well established and they are now seeking a CHARTERED QUANTITY SURVEYOR / COST MANAGER who must be MRICS qualified to join their team.

We are only seeking British or Irish candidates or QS's who already have a USA Green card / Visa for the USA.

You will need to have a Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar and have already gained chartered status with the RICS.

You must have worked for another firm of consultant quantity surveyors ideally at Senior Cost Manager / QS level and have gained experience of both pre and post contract duties including cost plans, cost estimating, budget control, cost reporting, variations, take offs and site measurement.

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious chartered quantity surveyor with excellent client facing skills to join a firm who are growing their already large New York office.

Salary in the region of US$110000 to USGBP115000 negotiable per annum plus bonus, health insurance, dental insurance, 401K etc.
