Position: Junior Pensions Associate
Location: Leeds
Salary: £41500 - £45000 per annum
Job type: Permanent
Company client is looking for a junior Pensions Associate to join the team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be looking to qualify into a Pensions team or have up to one years experience.
It is a high performing, cohesive and busy team with excellent prospects for career development. You will handle your own matters (with supervision) and assist the Partners and Managing Associates on more complex matters. We have a strong reputation for providing Associates with early levels of responsibility within a supportive, stretching environment.
You will be involved on a variety of pensions matters and there is the potential to undertake some pensions litigation work if of particular interest. We are seeking candidates with a good grounding in the basic elements of pensions law, excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop commercial awareness, good social skills and plenty of drive and enthusiasm to help us to provide an excellent client service.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Non-negotiable skills:
Open to the background of where the candidates have come from-can come from smaller firms.
WE DO ASK for a 2:1 in their degree and nothing lower than that.
1-2 years PQE
Don't necessarily need a pensions lawyer, but an interest in pensions is essential
