WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 -(3 pm finish on Friday)

THE COMPANY: Our client is a family run sheet fabrication company located in the heart of the UK with over 30 years' experience designing and manufacturing bespoke products and solutions and are experts at creating high-end metalwork across all sectors using the latest design technology and ideas.

They are looking for a Quality Inspector ideally with experience in a similar role or environment to join their team.

THE ROLE: The Quality Inspector main role is to run a busy production inspection area (1st off, in-process and final inspection)

Key Responsibilities of a Quality Inspector to include:-
  • Control Calibration system
  • Inspection reports and maintain quality records
  • Ensuring the smooth and effective flow of work through the inspection department to achieve delivery goals and deadlines.

You will be an enthusiastic individual with the drive to meet customer requirements to the highest standards of engineering quality. You will have excellent attention to detail, be hardworking with a 'can do' approach to the working day.

Key experience essential for the role of Quality Inspector, Daventry-Northamptonshire

  • Good all round engineering knowledge and experience of reading engineering drawing essentials
  • Must live within a commutable distance of Daventry-Northamptonshire
  • A good knowledge of inspection methods in a precision machining environment.
  • Experience or knowledge of ISO9001 is highly desirable
